ICON Coffee & Brunch in Surbiton is the go-to top brunch and coffee destination for residents local to the area and from afar.
Our focus is on brunch culture, we love it – as do most people in the UK nowadays. After the success of our Community Coffee House, expanding to a larger space with a full kitchen helped us serve a wider range of brunch dishes, along with our high-quality coffee.

From the outside, you really can’t appreciate just how beautiful it is inside. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by a bright, stylish space with gorgeous interiors that instantly make you want to stay. The skylight at the back floods the café with natural light, which bounces beautifully around the space. It’s a dream if you love a café with a great atmosphere and somewhere that’s incredibly photogenic.
The coffee is consistently excellent, and they offer a fantastic range of high quality alternative milks, which is a huge plus. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented, looking every bit as good as it tastes.
The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and a special mention has to go to the air conditioning. On a hot summer’s day, it’s honestly the best!
The Heart of the Community
We opened our doors in Surbiton in 2021, and never could have predicted just how quickly community coffee would become a staple of daily life in Surbiton. We welcome regulars dropping by for their morning coffee. But, it’s a lot more than a friendly coffee spot. We’re proud to be a work friendly cafe for Surbiton students and professionals, coming to get some work done from their laptops. It’s been incredible to watch our little shop grow into a much-loved Surbiton cafe.
For us, it’s all about the people. Creating a place where everyone feels valued and included was crucial. We didn’t want just another Surbiton coffee shop. We wanted a spot where neighbours would bump into each other, where the coffee would always be prepared from scratch, and where every visit would feel as cosy as coming home.
Fast forward to today, and the same spirit that drove us to open in the first place continues to be at the heart of what we do every single day. We take great pride in being a friendly, family-run café, built for and around the community. Naturally, top-quality coffee is a must. But, for us, good coffee isn’t just about the taste; it’s about the people you’re sharing it with.
